Currumbin Alley

About Currumbin Alley

Currumbin Creek and the Alley, the entrance to the ocean, offer a protected and patrolled haven for all kinds of active water sports, particularly stand-up paddle boarding and kayaking and is a popular calm water place for families.

Part of the Gold Coast’s World Surfing Reserve, Currumbin Alley is renowned right-hand surf break which is a specialty for longboard and stand up paddleboard riders and beginner surfers. During larger swell conditions, it’s possible to catch a long wave from near the Currumbin Rock through to the southern end of Palm Beach known as Lacey’s Lane.

There is also a good Flathead and Bream fishing spot off the rock wall or Taylor fishing off the beach.
